Thank you Medium! I'm thrilled my short story was selected for an Honourable Mention. Extremely validating for my first long-form piece of creative writing, and first entry into a writing contest. I know there have been a lot of mixed emotions about this challenge. Writing is a deeply subjective creative art form, and there is a plethora of reading audiences out there.
